Spicy Rum Mule

Refreshing and daring, this cocktail fuses Cemí Dominican Rum Special Reserve with ginger, lime and a spicy touch of jalapeño, creating an explosion of Caribbean flavor.

INGREDIENTS

60 ml of Cemí Dominican Rum Special Reserve
30 ml freshly squeezed lime juice
15 ml of honey or agave syrup (optional, to soften the spiciness)
90 ml of ginger beer
2 or more slices of jalapeño pepper (for a spicy kick)
Ice cubes
Whole jalapeño and olives for garnish

Preparation

1. In a mule glass (copper or glass), add cubed ice.

2. Pour Cemí Dominican Rum Special Reserve, lime juice and honey syrup.

3. Add the jalapeño slices to enhance the spiciness.

4. Top with ginger beer and stir gently.

5. Garnish with a whole jalapeño and 2 olives.
